Don’t Rely on Luck: Rely on IMERGE
In 2001 IMERGE began working closely with and using Windows SharePoint
Services. As unbiased analysts, we know SharePoint’s benefits...and
limitations. Before you purchase SharePoint, or if you already have
it and are looking to optimize its use, let us help you benefit from our
knowledge and hands-on experience.
Our mission is to understand user requirements and the strategic fit of
SharePoint.
We are not in the deployment business – we expect that the user or
organization will install the hardware, software and administer network
security, etc. What we can do very effectively is configure MOSS
with the taxonomy determined in the requirements definition. And
SharePoint training? Of course. Think of our services as insurance for
your investment.
We
Use SharePoint Extensively
Our
office has used SharePoint Team Services, SharePoint Portal Server and
MOSS, and now SharePoint 2010 for our internal collaboration and
document management repository. We developed a methodology for rapidly
defining user requirements for MOSS taxonomy (folders, security,
categories, profiles, attributes, etc.). With a very low investment,
your workgroup can be up and running with a document management system.
After working with SharePoint for a few days or weeks, it can be
reconfigured to better meet future requirements.
Our
Staff Are SharePoint Experts
IMERGE
Technician Thomas Mark in our Chicago office has spent untold hours with
Microsoft technical support to determine why certain elements of
SharePoint do not work as Microsoft’s technical literature describes.
IMERGE
SharePoint Administrator Lynnea Brown in our Chicago office wrote a
comprehensive SharePoint Portal User and Folder Coordinator
manual, several user and administrative MOSS manuals and acts as our
first-level help desk, while Thomas provides second-level support.
IMERGE
