IMERGE Consulting offers preparation
workshops for the Information Capture Professional (ICP) certification
exam. IMERGE is licensed by TAWPI to provide ICP training. Industry
professionals pursuing the ICP designation will find this program
helpful as they prepare for the challenging ICP exam.
These one-day, comprehensive, highly interactive workshops will help
industry professionals to better understand technology, applications and
operational processes in the areas of payment/remittance processing,
data capture, imaging operations and forms processing.
“TAWPI’s ICP exam is tough, and most people who pass it have thoroughly
prepared in advance,” said Melissa Comeau, TAWPI VP of Business &
Communications Development. “TAWPI is pleased to promote these ICP
Preparation Workshops, taught by seasoned industry professionals.”
Successful ICP students must absorb a substantial amount of recommended
reading before the workshop. Education is a process rather than an
event, and often is best absorbed in stages.
IMERGE’s workshops are a key stage in preparation, helping to fill gaps
in understanding and guiding individuals preparing for the exam. But,
this workshop may likely be only a fraction of the effort needed to pass
the exam. Like any other exam of factual and experiential knowledge, it
cannot be assumed that you will know it all - it takes study of areas
outside of normal expertise as well as a refresher on certain aspects of
familiar subjects. At a minimum it is important to skim much of the
material, especially focusing on sections that cover material unfamiliar
to you.

Our instructors focus on the same topics the exam covers:

Sponsor a Workshop at the Venue and on a Day of Your Choice
It's convenient and cost-effective! You choose the date. You provide the
venue (a quiet conference room works well). You register yourself/your
attendees. Often, sponsors open participation to the public.
We bring the needed materials, and provide an interactive, effective
learning experience.
The workshops are convenient and cost-effective for employees of
companies choosing to host one. Workshop registrants can avoid overnight
travel, and sponsoring organizations can open their workshops to persons
from other organizations in the area. It's a win-win for everyone.
Classes
must have a minimum of five persons, and dates are available on a
first-come, first-served basis. Fees are normally $595 per person
including ICP handbook and glossary. Registration fees varies with the
number of participants. Additional discounts for volume: contact
training@imergeconsult.com or 815-398-0492 for details. Fees are due
within 10 (ten) days of registration. Full refund if cancelled 14
(fourteen) days before workshop date.
